Terms of Service

Last updated 30 October 2026

These terms cover your use of Atlas of Physics at atlasclass.app (“Atlas”, “we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

Who can use Atlas

Atlas is for students, teachers and anyone learning physics. You need to be at least 13 to make an account. If you’re under 18, use Atlas with the permission of a parent, guardian or teacher, who should read these terms with you.

Your account

You sign in with an email link, so keep access to your email safe. One account is for one person; don’t share it. You’re responsible for what happens on your account.

Free and Premium

The chapters, figures and equation sheet are free. With a free account you can open any three practice sets; sample questions are open to everyone. Premium opens every practice set.

Class access for teachers

Teachers can ask for Premium for a class. We may approve, limit or decline a request, and we may end class access that is misused. An approved teacher gets Premium for themselves at no charge and can buy seats for their students at half the Annual price. Class access lasts until the date we give when approving it and covers the number of seats bought. Teachers who request access confirm they are allowed to use Atlas with their students under their school’s rules.

Using Atlas fairly

Please don’t:

We may suspend or close accounts that do these things. If we close a paid account without good reason, we’ll refund the unused part.

Content and ownership

The practice questions, solutions and figures on Atlas are written by us. Premium content is licensed to you for your own learning, not sold to you. Some of the chapters and figures are also published as open source; that code and content is under its own license (MIT), and these terms don’t limit what that license allows.

AP® and the College Board

AP® is a trademark registered by the College Board, which is not affiliated with, and does not endorse, Atlas. We use “AP” only to say which courses Atlas is written for. The equation sheet follows the published AP Physics equation tables.

Accuracy

We work hard to get every answer right, but mistakes happen. Atlas is a study aid: it doesn’t guarantee any grade or exam score. If you find an error, tell us and we’ll fix it.

Availability

We try to keep Atlas running, but it may sometimes be down or change. We may add, change or remove content and features. If we ever shut Atlas down, we’ll refund the unused part of active subscriptions, and refund Lifetime purchases made in the 12 months before.

Limits on liability

Atlas is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll show a notice on the site or email you before it applies. Using Atlas after a change means you accept the new terms.
